This is a photo of the Coney Island boardwalk located in Brooklyn, New York. In the distance is the parachute jump. I am not sure how long it has been since someone was on that ride. I remember, as a little girl, the high status I gave to my sister who had the nerve to go on it. In the foreground are the many fast food stores that line the board walk. The deterioration of the boardwalk can be seen by the broken slats. Colorful garbage cans are decorate the scene. Save Coney Island is written on the first one in the line-up of receptacles. People from all over come to Coney Island to have fun.
